Replacing the windshield on your headset should be a regular occurrence, like changing the oil in your car.
Not only does changing the windshield have its hygienic merit, but it also helps to increase noise cancellation. Even if the windshield is clean, it becomes compressed with age.
As a guide, windshields should be replaced every 6 months or replaced if the headset is passed on to a new staff member.
